I'm just wondering if there are any special requests for topics to be covered during my Wi-Fi presentation this year. Already planned are:
GenMAC XWLAN ACPI / APM / Power issues hotspot security
If anyone is interested in antenna stuff or access point topics (such as DD-WRT vs OpenWRT), I'm happy to oblige; please post back.

Lewis, I'd particularly like to know how to switch between wired & WiFi with the minimum of effort - I almost never use WiFi, so I don't have is set up.
But it would be nice to use it say at an airport on the odd occasion without doing a research project at the time, trying to get it to work before the battery runs out! :-)

You got it, Howard. Switching is still something of a hit or miss issue, and the fluidity of the wired-wireless-wired transition(s) seems to vary widely between configurations. We'll cover the theoretical and the practical.
Thanks for reminding me!
I noticed your registration come in. So glad you're able to make it this year.
