You know, Jeff Race has suggested Boston a couple of times, and we've never had an event in New England. It's surely worth considering. If you can gather together some travel information (basic airfares from LAX, LGA, DCA, a few airports in the middle of the country, and Ontario, as well as alternate means (Amtrack), and send that info along to the Board at the bids AT warpstock DOT org address, that would be most helpful, Tom.
Thanks for the suggestion. We often poll people as to where they'd like to see an event, but I tend to forget that people move, too. I either didn't recall that you were in New Hampshire or thought you were somewhere south of there. In any case, again, good suggestion. Thanks!

I used to live in New Jersey but moved to New Hampshire when I retired. I have been in New Hampshire since January of 2015. I wanted to be closer to family. Since my father passed away in July of last year, there was no reason to stay in New Jersey.
I suggested Hampton Beach since I live in Hampton which is next to Hampton Beach. I wasn't really serious about it being a place for Warpstock since I don't know of any places in the area that has hotels with convention areas but I will check just to be sure.
I think Boston would be a great place for it. I will check for air fares and hotels with convention rooms. I like doing online research.

I think I meant 2016 but 2017 could work too.
Since I am retired, I have more time to work on the above assignment. I will use a fake Warpstock date (2016 and 2017).
Hampton Beach NH is very busy during the summer.

I have not really done much work on seeing if one could have it in the north east. I have been traveling a lot. There is a lot to see in the NH and MA area. I will try to work on it for 2016 or 2017.

Sorry for dropping off the discussion, here, Tom...
You know, some places will surprise you with their rates. I was convinced that Orlando in November would have been way too expensive for us, and yet it turned out to be about the least expensive option, all things considered. Massachusetts might surprise you, particularly in fall. We looked at some nice options outside of Boston for this year, and they were close contenders.
We look forward to seeing what you might be able to propose for next year.
