Does anyone know where and when WarpStock 2011 is going to be held!
Thanks.
I am hoping it is in the Eastern part of the USA so I am more likely to attend.

How about New York City? Which will be in "IBM's" own Back Yard!
Also, how about if it is held during "Summer" when will be convenient for an Out-Door "BBQ" for WarpStock attendees!
I think that is an excellent idea. It would be neat if there was a group in NYC that could sponsor it.

Would you by chance happen to know of any group (or group of individuals) here in NYC who may have an interest in this. Perhaps, there can be some "linking up" (via email...) to discuss the possibilities of the hosting of "WarpStock 2011" here in NYC.
Thank you.
Kindest regards.
I do not know of any. With so many living in New York City, there probably is a group there. I will check online. Perhaps a group that covers more than one interest group?
New York Personal Computer Group ?I didn't see an OS/2 or eCS SIG.
I will keep looking.
Long Island OS/2 Users Group is (currently) my group: http://www.lios2.org.
We presently have a membership of 1. One of these days, I'm going to have to update the website with some newer stuff. I'm not married to Suffolk County, either; meetings could be in any of the five boroughs, Nassau, or even on the Jersey side of the Tunnel.
That said, I'm not personally in a position to spend the time required to put together a bid, let alone run an event this coming year. Th group could become active, however, and if we could gather together enough people, the group could then explore the possibility of hosting an event in the NYC area.

There isn't an OS/2 or eCS SIG but perhaps one could start one?
If NYPC had a convention, Warpstock could be part of it? (just thinking out loud).
I am in a similar situation; person of one who is unable to put in a bid (the most I could do is make suggestions. ).
