Warpstock Corporation adopts new bylaws
The Board of Directors of Warpstock Corporation, by a unanimous vote of the Quorum, adopted new bylaws today, replacing the original set of governing rules adapted in 2006 from the predecessor organization.
The full text of the new bylaws is available here, but highlights include:
- Adoption of the American Institute of Parliamentarians Standard Code of Parliamentary Procedure (5th Edition) (TSC), replacing Roberts Rules of Order, Newly Revised (1990 edition) to govern meetings of the Board of Directors.
- CompuServe has been removed as a virtual meeting place.
- Term limits for the members of the Board have been removed.
- Various procedural matters to better streamline meetings and better define duties of the Officers and the members of the Board have been either altered, added, or removed.
