The Board of Directors of Warpstock Corporation is still accepting
bids from groups or individuals wishing to host Warpstock 2007.
Although there has been some discussion about various locations to
hold Warpstock 2007, the Board desires to get the process in motion
by setting May 10th, 2007 as the final date that we will accept
formal proposals.

Teams wishing to bid on hosting Warpstock 2007 should submit a letter
of their intent to host this event to: bids AT warpstock DOT org.
The workload of the Event team has been reduced by the Board taking
on the responsibility of getting presenters and speakers, and the
primary responsibility of an event team is arranging for and
coordinating the physical facilities.
This proposal should contain a list of the individuals involved, the
city or area in which the event would be held, and the suggested date
for the event. It should also include the benefits of holding the
event in their suggested location. The letter of intent may contain
any additional information about the proposed bid that the team
wishes to share. This letter does not need to be in great detail
about the proposed event, but rather, a commitment from the group
about entering into the bid process.
The Board of Directors will remain in close contact with the Teams
throughout the entire bid process, including final site selection.
Now is the time to get your proposals in! The deadline for receipt of
proposals is May 10, 2007. The Board will be making a decision about
the Warpstock 2007 event on May 12, 2007.
